TRADES

we seem to be getting a fair amount of scam reports through at the moment

please remember the rules of not doing trades outside the official routes is there to protect YOU

Admin and us as mods cannot get things back to you and by agreeing to trades such as i'll give you x item and y horse for your horse called z it puts both players in the wrong. the scammer for doing the scamming, the scammed player for going into the trade

Unfortunately in this world not everyone is honest and we do not like seeing these things happen

so to summarise
horse trades... don't do them
item trades.... use the item exchanges

don't trade horses for anything other than passes and equus.
this is for your own protection, while we do sypathise things happen if things are done how you are advised to scamming won't happen.

if someone offers you a trade please remind them that it's not allowed or send through as a pm report for us to deal with

When I was 7 I made an account with my sister, and I was like: My password is gonna be 123456 ! And it stayed that for like a week, I got hacked but the hacker didn't change my password so I deleted my account default smiley xd
Now I have more complicated passwords default smiley :-))
I have like, 8 different passwords, so I have to guess which one the right one is default smiley xd
I think most people did it because they started putting time limits on BMI's and some people wanted to exchange them but they couldn't. That is probably why, because i wanted to do it but i didn't because i know i would get into troubledefault smiley :(

Being a hacker is just, honestly sad. Especially for an innocent Horse game. I mean like honestly who hacks a game where people breed horses?? In all honest you'd have to have absolutely nothing to do... WE ARE INNOCENT PEOPLE!!
Sometimes I feel like saying to these awful people:
Dear Hackers,
You have nothing to be proud of. You hacked a horse game. Bravo. You stole a persons prize horse. So what?! You hurt that person, and it's not like your going to get a article in the newspaper!
You'll only feel regret. Don't make a game, where people can breed horses, turn into a danger? This wasn't what this game was made for... And in all honesty... You have nothing to be proud of, at all.
Sorry,
indonesia

(Sorry about the large chunk of writing theredefault smiley :p)

I've never been hacked before, but one of my friend s on international sent me a rude message and I was like 'This makes no sense! She's so sweet!' It turns out that her password was really simple just the same letter five times so she had to delete her account and start fresh.

I have had this happen to me before. It was on the International server. default smiley :$

I know another game (I'm not gonna name it) that has lots of people that are just like "Hey! Would you like a free V.I.P. account?" Like, why would you do that? The game has little kids on it! The youngest person I met was 8! I nearly did it once but I decided not to because someone else told me not to default smiley :$. One time someone asked me if I wanted free money on it and I was so excited until they said gimme your password and I'll buy them for you default smiley (li)

one way to prevent hackers is to frequently change your password

like once the week or so

I do not agree.Maybe the hackers will not know your password but changing it once a week may make you forget yourself

Likewise, you could just create a strong password that isn't easy to guess.

The only reason anyone would want to go onto your account (other then being annoying) is for passes. It happened on my INT account, I had about 20 passes on it (for real money) and I logged on the next day to find that I had bought 2 horses for 20 passes. The 2 horses were from the same user. So I decided to PM them, they had black mailed me, and so I contacted a mod. I didn't get my passes back, but at least its one less bully to worry about.

These things happen, so I say change your password every other month (or so) perhaps keep track of your password on your phone or something private. And when it comes to passes, only buy them if you know you're going to use them. I dont want to risk saving up passes, have like £60's worth on my account and then get hacked. But thats just my advise. If your password is strong (8+ characters, numbers + letters, upper + lower cases, symbols + punctuation) or you change it enough, I wouldn't expect anyone to be able to hack.

My password is very unique, so hopefully no one will hack my account. default smiley ;)
By Retired breeder, 8th April 2016 19:59:22
Besides, I don't even know who would want to hack it. default smiley xd

I'm not reccomeneding anyone should do it but I did it once and they actually did buy me passes. I still know who did it and she is extremely nice. I suppose I was just lucky but I still believe I was foolish to have done that

Strange style of scam, they often go for money/passes/items, but yeah, you were scammed

To be honest, telling a scammer your password would be me shouting out my password to google in the middle of the hall.
They can do anything with it.
Right, I'd better shut up. Off to school...
