Daily Objectives: Tips & Tricks

HellOw,

You can now complete two daily objectives each day! Some players can earn equus and others passes, depending on your seniority level.

Find your daily objectives on the homepage of the game, which is the page you see after logging into the game.

Completing the daily objectives seven days in a row will give a Horn of Plenty You can check on your progress through the gauge bar directly from the Daily Objectives.

Within this thread, players who need help, want to help, or just would like to share their progression with the daily objectives are welcome to post here.

All forum rules apply, which includes no advertising.

Warm Regards,
The Howrse Team

Has anyone got a horse born today I can feed an apple to?
The teams ranking is the easiest way to find a horse born today. Achievements >> Best Teams. Choose a team from the ranking, click on the affix name. Click on the last page of the affix, find the last horse. Check the horse's date of birth. Today is the 9th of December.

As per the original post and the forum rules, you can't advertise here, including asking for things. Try watching the reward videos on the pass page and hope what you need is provided. You can also get 2* protection tack from some events, in luck items, and by owning certain divines.

If anyone has a free moment can you maybe leave a congrats on my page? I need 4 today for the daily I'm happy to return the favour default smiley :)
We aren't allowed to ask for help in completing objectives here. Just asking for information on how to complete them.

There should be a looking for congratulations topic in the events forum unless I'm on the wrong server again. Also, the easiest way is to go and do some congratulating for yourself. Start on your congratulations list and work outwards. Even better if you can find people who have congratulated someone else in the last few minutes, as they will be doing the same as you.

I would like to complain that I have three times now received the objective to remove water of youth from one of my horses. What is the idea behind wasting my passes this way?

If you wish to give feedback you will need to send it in as a ticket to Contact Us. This thread is just for advice on how to complete objectives, so suggestions and the like aren't going to be seen here. You will find Contact Us linked at the bottom right of the page.

hi, can 1 person say congrats on my account, because i need 4 to complete the daily objectives
Does anyone have a covering slot left on a draught horse? I'm looking ideally for a percheron but not fussy, literally just need it to complete objectives! Apologies if this is breaching rules for this forum, I didn't know where else to go!

Why not be proactive and do some congratulating of your own. Start on your congratulating list, especially those who have congratulated others in the last few minutes. They're usually doing the same as you and will get to you.

Yes it does I'm afraid, remember the forum rules you agreed to before you made your first post? The bit about advertising.

Drafts only breed three times so people tend to keep covers for their own mares. 7500e for a cover is a lot less than the sale price of a draft foal. Check the sales, make sure the stallion has at least one covering left.

Go on your own congratulating spree, many players will return the favour when they see it.

It states in the very first post of the thread that all regular forum rules apply here, which includes no advertising. For species with limited covers such as what you're looking for, owners of males almost always reserve their coverings to their own mares and do not offer them to other players. It makes much more financial sense, since they could use the covering themselves and then sell the resulting offspring for easily 3 times the maximum cover fee, and likely much more. Buy your own male with coverings left from the sales instead. You can filter for number of coverings already performed in the detailed search criteria.

Events are the official contests held by Howrse, like the current Carnival Cards event. If you go to the contest page by clicking the button in the banner at the top of the page or by following the link on the homepage you can read the instructions by clicking the ? button in the top right (or they will pop up immediately if you haven't viewed them yet). They will include details of how to win the horseshoes for that event.

how do we make a covering offer?
Go to the page of a stallion you own, older than 2 years 4 months.

Scroll down and look at the breeding section on the lower right side of the page.

Click the cover a mare button.

Choose if you want to offer a public cover (anyone can take it), one to one of your own mares (you then choose the mare) or reserved for another players mare ( you then type in the mare's name). Then you choose a price (not if you're using it for one of your own mares) and click confirm. That's it.

Usually dressage in classical and trail classes in western should have a few appropriate options. Try looking again but use the different filters at the top of the list to sort by difficulty and then kitty. Also bear in mind the horse's morale and whether or not it has a shower in its box, as these factors will affect the energy required for activities like competitions. It might take a little digging around but there almost certainly will be some competitions like the one you need.
