Massively outskilling genetics

Hi! I've seen some horses with low Genetics but much much higher skills. How is this possible? I don't want to single anyone out but for example I just saw this horse: https://www.howrse.co.uk/elevage/fiche/?id=9191783 can someone explain? And congratulations to that breeder of course!!

Hi, it’s a foal bred by Pastry Divines. If you have a look into special horses, pastries when bred produce a foal with very high skills default smiley :)

I have a mare that is like this. I was very confused at first as I bought her as a foal. But looking into her genetics I realised that she had two pastry divines as her parents. I was very happy of course but sadly all of her foals do not have very high skills at alldefault smiley :(

thats because the GP is passed down from the pastry Divine foal, like every other parent, not the IBS. The effect only appears on the first generation foal.
