Spend tokens to activate your cards to move forward across the board. Cross the checkpoints to claim the rewards.
There are 4 different types of cards:  Switch - Change the line.
 Move - Move forward by 1, 2, or 3 km.
 Counter-obstacle - Find the right card to counter the obstacles you face on the way.
Joker - Counter any obstacle blocking your way.
On your way, you can collect useful items during your hike:  Tokens
 Gifts from the game
 Gifts to send to a friend
 Gifts from a friend
To receive them, you have to pass through the square they are on.

How to get tokens
By connecting every day on the game (with a bonus if you connect 5 days in-a-row);
By completing daily actions in the event;

In past Christmas events, I was recommended to use passes to get the Christmas Divine early (before the 25th December). Does anyone know whether it would be worth doing again this year?

In past Christmas events, I was recommended to use passes to get the Christmas Divine early (before the 25th December). Does anyone know whether it would be worth doing again this year? As with all such recommendations, it depends on several factors. The difference in gain from the Divine before and after the 25th is 200 passes. Simply put, if you can complete the path by the 24th for under 200 passes, it's worth doing. Otherwise not. Unless you would have to spend passes to complete it any which way... Some players, however, will be holding onto their tokens until the alternative paths open, completing just the objectives each day. These later paths are much shorter, and many will already have fragments for some of these divines. Thus, it might be much better value to pick up 2/3 of these divines rather than just the new one. Choices, choices. We have the opportunity to do well from this promo, but each player's circumstances will be a little different.
