The challenge was ok, and got some nice prizes, but the battle was boring.

Although not the most entertaining contest, this is definitely one of the best events for high value prizes. I missed a number of UFO resets (but did keep/trade *all* of my UFO’s) and still came away with 97 total. Compared to other events, like the merge ones, where you only win a handful, I like that!

The UFO rotation, at least for me, was quite repetitive in general rule, so it was a bit boring because the choice really wasn't that hard to send it back for ranking points (I do not need 8 Kairos Dials a day, thank you).

I was impressed though with the occasional HoP that I managed to grab default smiley (y)

I think I just played it wrong. Next time, I'd keep all of my UFOs. I gave all away as well and missed the top 20. I think I didn't take into account that its not just commitment and luck on this one... I'd like to see a version where it isn't a competition of how much equus you were willing to spend! I suppose you can't expect to win the top prizes for free though. default smiley ^)

Oddly enough I was quite happy with my 4 Kairos Dials in a rowdefault smiley (8)default smiley xd
Gave some items away that I wasn't particularly interested in (like ATs), before realising that there was no point in me giving stuff away just to end up with an Ow's helios ray, so ended up keeping much of mine, and won Ymir in a HoP that I caughtdefault smiley (8)
Fairly good deal overall I'd say..default smiley :-))

I always enjoy the Great Challenge, it's a nice incentive to BLUP horses. While some of the free prizes in the GC were a bit disappointing, the ones offered later in the Treats Battle contrast this, so all in all it seems to balance itself out. For the first time in a very long time, I found the extra prizes worthwhile & decided to purchase the premium key as well.

During the Treats Battle I was very surprised at my luck, winning Horns of Plenty, Aphrodite's Tears and a Harmony Pack, plus an abundance of other smaller prizes. Only needing to login for 5 minutes 3 times a day to not miss out was much appreciated, especially after the objective-driven event before.

I opted to only 'throw' away UFOs that I had little use for or many copies of. That said, it is a bit silly that I had discarded at least 3x Fertility Wands, and yet finishing at rank 268 granted me with... 1x Fertility Wand. default smiley (8)

Overall for a free-to-play promotion there were plenty of prizes, including some highly sought-after BMIs, and even if I hadn't purchased the premium key I would have enjoyed participating in both events & been thrilled with what I received.

Honorary mention for the delightful artwork too, in particular I kept my fingers crossed to keep receiving the green crocodile sweet - 'CrOwco' as it's been called on Discord.
