I know this is probably going to fall on deaf ears, but how about you fix all the lag when caring for a horse instead of adding a MASH as a prize for the anniversary

Not in the change log but looks like they have moved the monster companions out of the pets trophy and into one of it's own, which makes more sense I think. Not earth shattering but for those trophy hunters out there ...

How is it possible to win that many equus in skijoring competitions? My first place prizes range from 145 to 155. To win 1600 equus in one day in say 8 comps, you'd have to win 200 eq per comp.
I guess you must have worked this out already... but for those that haven't it is most likely caused by those entering their reindeer in comps just before update on the game day before the ranking resets. So those races then run on the new game day and 'appears' that the player received more points than would be feasible from 8 races...

The lag started directly when they introduced the reindeer comp... the one nobody really bothers with cos it is rigged...
(See my earlier note above - Whoever scores the extra wins at the start is basically the winner...)
If we were to boycott the reindeer game, do ya think they might eventually pull it, and we get our game back???

Not to mention the amount of work you need to put in, only to get lousy 20 passes (if you get them)

That is good info. i raised a ticket about the lag issue and got the following reply:
Hello buckets,
Thank you for contacting us, I’m very sorry that you are encountering this!
Rest assured that we are looking into this and hope to have it resolved as soon as possible. Please know that sometimes these types of issues can take a while to identify and resolve the issue.
If you have any other questions or concerns, please let us know!
Happy Howrsing!
Kind regards,
EchOw
I am going to add to my ticket that it seems to have started when they started the reindeer comps. That may help them narrow the issue.

Too true about the lag sadly (and it is on all my Howrse games so all servers although it varies at times from server to server!) Not only is is too slow to play, but I get a white screen between actions so frequently it almost seems normal now!
Strangely it always happens with the water!
It takes so long to look after and work just one howrse, that there is little point trying to be competitive, (hence Howrse - no point buying passes!!)

Has anyone noticed a change to the way predicted vs actual energy usage works?
I enter some competitions with a horse, then do an amount of training based on the predicted energy usage however when I hit OK to accept the training the actual usage is much much higher than predicted and I'm left with a very sick horse.
Seems to be that when I hit OK on the training the game is amending morale for comp results coming in and then changing the energy usage without giving me a chance to take it into account.
I've never noticed this happening to me before and it's happened on 4 out of the last 5 horses I've worked nearly killing them off. I'm sure if any results were pending it used to deduct the predicted energy then amend then morale afterwards.
Anyone got any thoughts? Or am I completely misremembering, it's entirely possible!

I'm really not too impressed with the new BMI pages. I know it's only a small thing, but it seems to be less detailed than the previous pages (it might be my imagination though). I don't know how to describe it but the aesthetics are just not for me. What was wrong with the old pages?

The aesthetics are probably a question of taste/getting used to (though I've preferred the old ones, too). What I definitely don't like is that before the changes, we had been shown the amount of available items, like e.g. "1 HR (12 available)" when chosing from own stock. Now there's just the one you want to use or the prize if you purchase.
Honestly, who remembers all items in stock or likes to go and look at the list every time before picking a BMI?!

Exactly I am avoiding to play this game lately as it takes too much time. Just do my daily horses and even that takes ages. Hope that they will fix it soon as I actually wasted about a month of VIP. Hoping for some compensation as I paid for it and cannot play it properly. It is just sad.

Another update goes by, but it's been three months and one day since the lag started, and yet there is no fix to this solution. How is this possible?
The new search update is fantastic though. Good work there.
