One of my personal casual objectives on Howrse is collecting affixes.

That means I'll buy all the horses from others people's affixes. Below are some that I have my eye on but they are difficult to fully obtain if the owner still breeds horses under the affix :

IN MY HEART ALWAYS - This is my first collection. It started when I revived conen a few years ago and lucky. Then I noticed they have the same affix and went out to buy the other two.

Moonlight Gazers - Completed on the 8th of December when I noticed that there were only two horses of the affix (I already had the shettie)

What if I compiled a list on my page of players and what their areas on Howrse are?

I could begin by going publically onto others' profiles and extracting information and then compiling it into a table...

Does anyone remember how hard it used to be to buy unicorns?

I remember when I first started out, if I wanted to purchase a unicorn it was always for a pass or two and earning passes was near impossible. Now the only thing I find near impossible is selling unicorns. Because of the inflation, they go for ten passes which is only a tenth of the old pass.

Does anyone else think that we should have other donkey breeds?

In the yearly survey, for my magic wand wish I gave a suggestion that we could have more breeds of donkey like Miranda Donkeys, Andalusian Donkeys, Cotentin Donkeys, Poitou Donkeys etc

I reckon it would be a nice addition since we have different breeds of pony, horse, draft horse.

Why not have different breeds of donkey?

Rants about failed Hera's Packs!

So I had a knabstrupper unicorn, pregnant with 6 foals and when she gave birth, I chose one of the rarest coats, chestnut snowflake, and it looks amazing but the display above didn't change. Me thinking that it will show when I validate, I clicked the green button, receiving the most common knabstrupper coat for 6 unicorns simply because I didn't click twice!

This actually is to blame on my own stupidity.

Today my best mare was going to give birth to 5 thoroughbred foals of Liver Chestnut coat colour. I had a Hera's pack on her so I was thinking, "I'mma choose Strawberry Roan". When she got around to delivering the foals, the internet stopped working! and I was hoping, "Please don't let this be a second fail". The internet came back with the 5 foals in my breeding farm all named 'Foal'. I began naming them in hopes that the next stage would be choosing their coats. Unfortunately, no coat choosing occurred...

Horse graveyard

My horse graveyard has names, links, dates and descriptions of horses that died of old age even if no one cares about them. Strangely, I can't resuscitate horses from ages ago that didn't die of old age.

Comet - Died age 32 years and 6 months - Comet is a light grey connemara that I bought way back in 2013.I him bought with Draculaura a Friesian mare

Drumbackie ii - Died age 32 years and 8 months - Drumbackie ii is not called Drumbackie ii because she is the offspring of Drumbackie which she is not. She's called that because she looked like Drumbackie in the coat. Drumbackie ii was Drumespiral's wife and they are the first generation of the 'will live to the fullest' affix

Connie - Died age 32 years and 6 months - Connie is a female, connemara unicorn that I bought

Dingle - Died age 32 years and 10 months - Dingle is the twin brother of Doolar. Their mother is Draculaura and their father is Adam

Who IS Jackymack50?

I am half Irish and half Russian (can't do the Russian flag because is has horizontal colours). I don't own a horse but go riding once a week. I am not an adult player. I am over 14 years old and less than 17 years old. I don't mind having a conversation with anyone.

Update : I now have been an adult player for over a year (clearly haven’t updated my presentation since years ago) and I no longer ride horses

Guys I’ve decided it’s time.

It’s time I stopped playing Howrse.

I’m twenty years old now. I’ve been doing this since I was 9 years old, since 17th May 2013.

For years now I’d be embarrassed whenever somebody caught me playing Howrse.

Because I knew it was a waste of time.

I just couldn’t accept it.

How could I stop when I’d already spent so much time on here?

But it’s time.

Because it never ends.

There is no end to this game.

And I’ve been addicted.

I’m afraid to think of the hours, days, months I’ve wasted on here,

I’m going on a big spend, going to wraps things up, and just retire.

I still can’t bear the thought of actually deleting my account so I’ll still be here just not fully active and I don’t know when this will happen. For now I’m still here while my teams are barely alive…
