My player name is Shaline and im 45, female and living in Wales with my husband and 2 lads. My 4 cats and my Friesian mare. 

I have been playing Howrse since 2004 but had to leave in 2011 because we lost our internet connection . I have had to start from scratch again. Howrse is absolutely worth it.  So hereby Im pleased to be back, I dont mind new friends at all.

I found out that all events need different skills. I just asumed that when you have a horse ready to show it was just your choice if you want to go Classic or western.Now i found that every horse has his own different skill combination.

So to help here is a way to find out what your horse needs to do:

Classic :
Trot : Trot, Speed, Dressage.
Gallop : Gallop, Speed, Dressage.
Dressage : Dressage, Trot, Gallop.
Cross Country : Stamina, Dressage, Jumping.
Show Jumping : Jumping, Dressage, Speed.

Western : 

Barrel Racing : Speed, Stamina, Gallop.
Cutting : Stamina, Dressage, Speed.
Trail Class : Dressage, Trot, Jumping.
Reining : Gallop, Dressage, Stamina.
Pleasure : Trot, Stamina, Dressage.
