50 elements limits on SJ courses
Hi all,
I was trying to add some obstacles on my EC.s show jumping course, but I got an error message saying I can't add more as I reached the 50 elements limit... However, I have seen much longer courses in other ECs and I distinctly remember mine being longer before I shortened it to allow more horses to run it. Is this new or did I have a fever dream of longer SJ courses? Thank you, JT

Just to add up to that, I just went onto the page of a high prestige EC with high dofficulty SJ and I counted 57 elements to the course.
So I would suppose it's either a bug or a new thing... Is anyone able to confirm if they have the same problem?

I've just re-created a course on a different server, following a guide I have saved from years ago. The 50 element limit was definitely in place in 2011, around the time the UK server first started. I am not sure whether it had ever changed going further back on the International site, however.
Below is my re-creation, it has 97% difficulty with 50 elements although some players have designs that can achieve slightly higher. If you want to lower the difficulty, simply play around with the elements on the last row or omit them completely. [spoiler]  [/spoiler:0]

Just to add, I've spotted CapallConnemaras' EC page has competition floorplans, including a show-jumping course which can achieve 98% difficulty, along with a lot of fantastic advice about running high Prestige ECs.
